Why GarageHawk?

• GarageHawk features patented microprocessor technology to safely and securely monitor your garage door(s) from a remote location. While other products function as automatic garage closers, GarageHawk will not interfere with normal garage door operation or garage door safety sensors and allows you to close the door remotely whenever you choose.

• GarageHawk is the ONLY product that allows you to remotely close your garage door.

• GarageHawk will not open a closed garage door, so it can't be used to gain unauthorized entry to your garage or house.

• GarageHawk allows reliable two way communication (CLOSES garage door; does not merely monitor the status as some other products do).

• GarageHawk employs patented INSTEON® wireless transmission standards.

• GarageHawk is easily integrated with other readily available INSTEON home automation products. This also allows the ability to monitor and close your garage door from anywhere in the world via telephone or internet connection.

• GarageHawk is not a timer based auto closer like some products. Automatic garage door closers with timers can inadvertently lock you out of your house. They also have no monitoring or lighting control capability.

• GarageHawk is compatible with older X10 receivers for auxiliary lighting control.

• GarageHawk is AC powered - no batteries to replace.

• GarageHawk is easily installed using only a screwdriver -- no rewiring required.
